Cherry Blossom Festival

I went out with Anya and Paloma today to the Cherry Blossom Festival which had been post poned since March-ish. It was very small, not like the first time I went. I guess they've run out of money? Well it was still fun to hang out with Anya and Paloma. We haven't hung out much cause of our different schedules and school projects and whatnot.

We went to the Yamazaki Bakery first for foods~

Paloma got green tea mochi mochi, Anya got the melon pan and I got the honey bread. It was all delicious! And so cheap 8D
After, we spent about 20 minutes looking for the festival. I didn't take very many pics since all the cosplayers were pretty eh. I also didn't feel like digging through my purse for the camera haha
When we found the festival, we watched the fashion show then headed over to QPop and Kinokuniya.

It was a great day with my friends! I can't wait for Halloween when we go to Disneyland!!

We went to karaoke because it was Jaime's last day at Suncoast. She got promoted and moved across the street to FYE. Will miss her lots! Good thing she's not so far away

It was super fun! I got a little tipsy though. Obviously cannot hold my liquor XD I think this is the most I've ever sung at Karaoke.

Tune in Tokyo: Bad Girls, Good Girls event

Tune in Tokyo held another event at Royal T, this time the theme was Good Girls/Bad Girls. I went with Midori, who drove and Anya and Paloma went in their own car.
Midori gave me a gift from Japan which I will post later~

Tune in Tokyo events are pretty boring so I don't think I'll be going again. I thought 3rd time might be the charm but it wasn't. It was the saaame. I spent 10 bucks to get in and pretty much just sat around twiddling my thumbs. Not worth it.
I had more fun at the Magical Girls event and that was free. Who ever organizes these things needs to put together some activites or something since there usually isn't enough people to start dancing or anything :/

All in all it was a very blah event. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

It was nice seeing Anya, Paloma and Midori before heading off to school though. And we took some fun pics. Will miss you guys :)

Little Tokyo trip and Cabazon

Nisei week started yesterday so Jade, her mom, and I went to go check it out. IT WAS REALLY HOT.
We walked around to look at the booths. There weren't that many. I think it was bigger last year :/ I got some cold soba which was really good. I was hoping there would be more food booths too.

We stopped by Qpop and I got a Sex Pot shirt and off brand pants.

We went back to Jade's house after and played Scattergories for a little bit before I headed home.

Aaand today we took a family trip to Cabazon. It was 101 degree! D: I thought I was gonna die. It's all brand and rich people shops so not really worth the trip IMO and I'd already spent 100 bucks the day before so I'm broke lol!

That's it for this weekend. I have to print out a few copies of my resume tonight so I can go look for a job at school tomorrow. Hopefully they still have something open. That's what I get for procrastinating 8D

Bunny helmet WIP+Gunji claws

Started work on Barnaby's hero suit. I have most of the helmet roughed out on thick construction paper. I found some Iron Man tutorials that used Rubbermaid trashcans for the armor so I'm gonna try that.

Anime Day at Suncoast

Today's Anime Day was the most fun in my opinion. A lot of people came :D There was trivia and a karaoke contest.
I went a Ciel again with a bunch of stuff I put together last minute.

Haha finally! XD Jade and I got another Artist Alley booth this year. I did better this year than last year by 20 bucks lol~ Jade sold a lot for me the last day <3
