I went to Melrose yesterday with my aunts and Araitz (our Spanish student) and I decided to dress up since I hadn't in a while. Not since the Tune in Tokyo Pop Punk event I think

I think the only "brand" I have on are my boots LOL

Hermosa Beach Street Fair

I went out with Anya, Paloma and Midori today to the Hermosa Beach fair WHERE IT WAS WINDY LIKE WHOA.

Anya was in mori girl and I wore shorts overalls with a tank underneath so we were freezing our asses off. We did a few rounds around the fair, got some free samples. We went to a vintage shop where I got these beauties:

After the vintage shop we went to get something to eat. I wasn't too hungry though so I didn't get anything.
It was a fun day!
Now the long wait till Anime Expo arrives!

Trip to Melrose

My aunty took me to Melrose today! First stop: Vivienne Westwood ♥
It's so cool to see real Vivienne Westwood clothes and jewelery. I love it so much! I tried on the armor ring and the knuckle duster. The armor ring is $280 so about $300 with tax. Hopefully I'll get enough birthday money to buy it. I've been wanting this thing for YEARS.

So goh-geous

Everything is SO expensive! But it's designer so I wasn't really expecting otherwise.
The two shop attendants were very nice and helpful (and adorable *O*). One of them started chatting with my aunt and he brought me different sizes to try on for the armor ring and knuckle duster. The shop had an overall friendly atmosphere. The two guys there weren't snooty or anything at all (even though we didn't buy anything ><). I'll definitely be back to buy that armor ring.

After Vivienne Westwood we stopped by a snack store that sold European and Asian snacks. My aunt bought a German snack called Topkuss.

 It's so rich and creamy and delicious! But I'd had it after 3 of them XD It's extremely sweet. The inside is some sort of marshmallow concoction. I'm not sure what it is exactly :/

We then ventured over to Wasteland were I got this guy:

I thought it had a kind of Sex Pot Revenge feel so I had to buy it. And the guy who rang me up had the CUTEST one piece on. I wanted to take a picture but that would've been creepy LOL

I got this at Crossroads, across the street from Wasteland. Plaaaiiid! Looks like the bustle shorts Paloma got from Q Pop XD

All in all it was a good trip and now I know exactly what size I need for that armor ring. Can't wait!

Phantom Galleries free theme exhibition 5/14/11

I thought about putting this in my art blog but I figure this is more of an event :) I went with Calla and we just hung out around the area. We even went into a sex shop which was interesting LOL

4/28/11: Mitsuwa+Mall

Skipped Life Drawing to hang with Midori and Paloma.
We met at Mitsuwa for lunch at around 2. Paloma and I shared a tenzaru soba and Midori got a fish bentou thing. After lunch we did our usual round of the market: makeup aisle=>bookstore XD

We decided to go to the Galleria and did some shopping and derping around. All in all it was a fun and relaxing day after a good nap in art history.
